Hot dipped galvanized drop forged  jaw and jaw turnbuckles. Meets design and performance requirements of ASTM standard. Turnbuckles are designed for use in straight line, do not subject to bending or unusual angles. End fittings are hot galvanized after threading. Hexagon ends on all bodies provide full  bearings. Turnbuckles must always be inspected for wear, distortion, cracks and damage before use. If worn, distorted or damaged, discard and replace. Turnbuckles are not designed for angular loading, so the loading must be applied in a straight line. Working load limit is based on a design factor of 5:1. 26-5/8-inches average overall length with ends in closed position. 22.72-inches closed length. 1-inches threaded diameter by 12-inches take up.
